Good stuff out of the White House this week. President Obama has set sustainability goals for Federal Departments:

The order also requires agencies to meet specific energy, water and waste reduction targets, including:

- Reducing vehicle fleet petroleum use by 30% by 2020

- Improving water efficiency by 26% by 2020

- Ensuring 95% of all applicable contracts meet sustainability requirements, and

- Implementing efforts to reduce building energy requirements.
