No Impact Man Coming to Fayetteville

I started reading Colin Beavan's blog, No Impact Man, back in 2009. It piqued my interest because Colin was telling his story about living in New York City and making a commitment for one year that he and his family would go zero waste, zero carbon, and purchase/eat only locally grown foods.

Now Colin has turned his one year experiment into a book and a traveling road show to spread the word about the values of living simply and reducing our impact on the planet. The University of Arkansas has turned the fall into a No Impact Semester complete with events and a visit from Beavan in October.
